Ethan C. Malonzo, President
Ethan is a senior and is extremely eager to be serving as the California FCCLA State president. This is currently his fifth year in FCCLA. Previously, he served as chapter president and Region 5 Reporter. FCCLA has helped him develop many leadership skills such as public speaking and organizing meetings. Outside of FCCLA, he is a well-rounded, hardworking individual. Athletically, he plays on a club soccer team and is on the varsity badminton team. Some of his hobbies include reading webtoons and playing games with his friends. With his amazing officers by his side, Ethan is positive that this year will be a memorable one.
Eleodoro Duran, Vice President
Eleodoro is a senior and is delighted to serve as your 2018-2019 FCCLA State Vice President. He has been an active member in FCCLA since freshman year, and has thrived in other extracurriculars such as 4-H, ASB, Key Club, and FFA. He began his leadership roles in FCCLA with serving as his Chapter Treasurer, then carrying on to be Region 8’s Treasurer, and then by becoming the 2017-2018 State Secretary. Eleodoro enjoys hanging out with friends, playing basketball, listening to music, and caring for his farm animals. He is excited for the upcoming year, prepared to welcome new members, and ecstatic for the upcoming challenges in his path.
Alexis Morales, Secretary
Alexis is a junior who is determine to be the best 2018 - 2019 State Secretary. Alexis has competed in Entrepreneurship & Illustrated Talk during his two years in FCCLA. He also has served as the Chapter and Region Secretary and is a member of FFA. He is excited to meet members from all over the state this year. Alexis is an avid artist and strives to help others. When he’s not fundraising for his chapter, he enjoys participating in school and community events.
May Chhur, Treasurer
May is a senior who is extremely honored and excited to serve as your 2018-2019 State Treasurer. This will be her 3rd year in FCCLA. Through this organization, May has been able to develop her leadership skills and grow as a person. She has learned a lot from her experience serving as Chapter Secretary and Region 10’s Vice President. Aside from FCCLA, May also serves as Leo Club’s Director of Communication, Chemistry Club’s Activities Director, and Earth Club’s Treasurer. May is ecstatic for what this year has to hold and the memories that will be made.
Taylor Le, Historian
Taylor is a senior and she is honored to serve as the 2018-2019 California FCCLA State Historian. This will be her fourth year in FCCLA. Taylor has taken many FCS classes including Teen Topic and Culinary I. She loves to helps people, challenge herself, and spend time with her family. She also loves to travel to places so she could learn new things from different cultural perspectives. Taylor aspires to be a pilot or a flight attendant. She is looking forward to serving as State Historian and her goal for this year is to develop her leadership and communication skills.
Calla Yang, Reporter
As Calla ventures into her senior year, she is exhilarated to serve as the California FCCLA State Reporter. The past three years in FCCLA have been filled with unforgettable memories and lifelong lessons. She hopes to take her past experience as State Vice President to inspire and support members through their own journey. In addition to FCCLA, Calla is also Vice President of her school’s Key Club and president of FBLA for her chapter as well as a bi-sport athlete participating in cheer and swimming year-round. She is extremely excited to be working with an amazing group of individuals and cannot wait to continue to develop long lasting friendships through the many challenges and opportunities ahead.
